What is a wiki?
A wiki is collection of simple to edit, linked pages (known as topics).
How do I create a new page?
To create a new page all you need to do is to create a link to it. When you click on the link to your new page you will be able to edit it immediately. Wikis do not have broken links, they just have pages that are yet to be edited.
How do I create a link?
There are two ways to create a link:
- Type a word with SeveralCapitalLetters (known as a Pascal cased word), this will automatically become a link.
- Type a word [surroundedbybrackets].
Is WikiPoint compatible with Windows SharePoint Services (WSS)?
Yes, WikiPoint is compatible with both SharePoint Portal Server 2003 and Windows SharePoint Services.
What are the limitations of the demo version?
The WikiPoint demo limits the maximum number of topics (pages) to 10.
How long is the demo license valid for?
The demo license is valid for 30 days. If you require a longer period of time to evaluate WikiPoint then please contact us.
Is it possible to link to a wiki page from outside the wiki?
Yes. To link to a specific wiki page use the following link template:
http://portal.mydomain.com/SiteData/WikiPoint/WikiPoint.aspx?page=PageName
