I have done a variety of tech jobs since I first started work, and have always enjoyed the challenge of understanding a real life problem and producing an elegant and appropriate solution to it. Whether it was for my friend's dad's newsagent, the customers where I worked as a network administrator, or the neoworks customers we have worked for over the years, nothing gives me greater satisfaction than to create solutions to their problems.

My technical background is wide and varied, and I think that feeds into all areas of my work. In my role here at neoworks I work as a consultant, solution architect and senior developer. Be it analysing a customer's requirements or writing code I'm always motivated by getting the right solution, both extensible enough for future growth and economical enough to fit the customer's budget and time frames.

I am a keen watcher of technology, and always like to know and understand new technologies so that I can understand when and where to apply them on a customer's project. Technology in software development moves very fast, but the latest technology is not always the best choice for a customer. Only by staying abreast of developments can I help someone make the right choice, rather than the one with the most buzzwords.

I've been writing code for 16 years now, and have learnt to know the good and bad points of languages, methodologies and software design approaches.

I am hugely proud of what we've achieved with neoworks, and the team we have working here. I couldn't ask to work with a better bunch of people, and I believe that if you have the opportunity to work with us, as an employee, partner or customer, you will feel the same.
